“To me performance is always a moment for all in the room to rediscover themselves through sound and silence, equally” – BandaBanda.

BandaBanda is a well-seasoned musician, born and raised in Durban and nurtured by the love of his grandparents. Banda  speaks fondly about how his grandparents instilled in him African values centred in love. He is grateful for having been  introduced to a lot of African music, in which he takes a lot of pride. In Banda’s view, sharing music is a very personal experience that communicates where you are, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
