“To me performance is always a moment for all in the room to rediscover themselves through sound and silence, equally” – BandaBanda.

BandaBanda is a well-seasoned musician, born and raised in Durban and nurtured by the love of his grandparents. Banda  speaks fondly about how his grandparents instilled in him African values centred in love. He is grateful for having been  introduced to a lot of African music, in which he takes a lot of pride. In Banda’s view, sharing music is a very personal experience that communicates where you are, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

About the Performance
As a student of existence, this will be a perfect time of self-discovery and the healing of both known and unknown wounds.

Zarcia Zacheus is a singer and songwriter from Johannesburg, South Africa. She graduated from Wits University majoring both in performance and composition. Zarcia’s charisma, charm and chilled demeanour on stage make her a well rounded performer. Her blend of gospel, jazz and African elements is soulful, fresh and makes her performances quite an experience.

Zarcia believes that music has the power to transport us to another time and place. She loves to harness that power with a broad audience of fellow music lovers and passionate musicians alike. Ever since a young age, Zarcia has found great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process.

AusTebza, the Bass Boss Lady

Tebogo Sedumedi, widely & affectionately known as AusTebza, is a recording and an award-winning Bass Player, Singer, Songwriter and Mentor. Her awesome musicianship has been showcases in her workings with established Artists that include Simphiwe Dana, the late HHP, Porverb, Maxhoba, Buhlebendalo of The Soil, Neo Muyanga, Grammy Award winning Wouter Kellerman and many more. AusTebza is a ground-breaking black female Bassist having been part of the SAMAs’ house band for 3 years as well as the ChannelO house band Bassist. The RESPECT SHOW, a television production show that aired on SABC 1 & 2, had never had a black female Basis tuntil AusTebza showed up.

Her profound gift of music and song, as well as her2 recorded released offerings, have placed AusTebza in front of vast audiences both Nationally and Internationally, including countries such as USA, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Australia to name a few. Through Workshops and mentoring, AusTebza passionately shares her experience withdeveloping Creatives.
